Terms of Service

These Terms apply to the use of "Tokyo Family Records" (the "Service") provided by Hatchome Inc. (the "Company").

By booking the Service, you are deemed to agree to these Terms and the Legal Notice based on Japan's Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.

The Service consists of on-location filming and delivery of edited video based on the plan selected by the customer. The filming duration and video length of each plan are as described on the website.

Filming locations are in principle within Tokyo and are decided after discussion with the customer.

Edited videos are delivered within 4–6 weeks from the filming date.

Full communication in Chinese is available throughout the service.

After the date is finalized, the booking is confirmed upon prepayment via the Company's designated payment method. Available payment methods are described on the website.

Fees are as stated on the website.

Up to 23:59 JST, 7 days before the shoot: free cancellation

3 to 6 days before the shoot: 50% of the fee

2 days before to the day of the shoot: 100% of the fee

Any refund fees are borne by the customer.

Rescheduling due to unavoidable circumstances such as bad weather will be handled free of charge by mutual agreement.

Copyright of filmed footage belongs to the Company.

Customers may freely use the delivered video for personal purposes (social media posts, sharing within the family, etc.).

The Company may use footage for promotional purposes such as portfolio, social media, and website, after confirming the customer's consent in writing or by email before the shoot.

The Company is not liable for damages arising from the following reasons:

- Changes to filming content due to force majeure such as weather or traffic

- Video reception issues due to the customer's equipment or network

- Impact on filming content from crowding or restrictions at the filming location

Where the Company is liable to the customer for damages, the amount is capped at the fee paid by the customer for the Service.

Personal information obtained from the customer is used only for the purpose of providing the service (filming, communication, delivery).

Except as required by law, personal information is not provided to third parties.

The Company may amend these Terms as necessary.

Amended Terms will be posted on the website, and by using the Service after posting, the customer is deemed to have agreed to the amended Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
